Park Place provides a family-style setting for individuals with
Alzheimer's disease and dementia. Monitoring, prompting and
assistance with the activities of daily living are provided
in a caring environment by our compassionate and trained staff.
An enclosed courtyard, flower and garden and a walking path
enable our members to enhance their lifestyle with the freedom
they deserve. Life-skill areas for performing hobbies and other

Park Place Retirement Community
 Sunset Park
Place Town Home Living provides our residents with many benefits and amenities
worth examining.
The exercise classes, cards, bingo, crafts, special
music, social events and outings offered through our Activities & Wellness
programming are available to you. These items are listed monthly in the Sunset
Park newsletter, "Sunset Views." Scheduled transportation to and from the
grocery store and other shopping sites is provided several times monthly.
Our Barber/Beauty Salon is located on the first floor of our
main building. Cindy Lynch, our barber/stylist is available
several days a week to serve your needs. Prices are available
upon request.
The third floor library in the main building is accessible to
Town Home residents. We have a large variety of reading material.
There is no formal check-out process. Residents may select the
books they wish to read, and return them at their leisure.
The activity room in the main building on the first floor is
available for special gatherings of residents and their family
members. Whether the occasion is a birthday party, family reunion
or just a get-together, simply contact the Activities and Wellness
Coordinator to reserve your special date.
Protestant and Catholic services, mass, communion and prayer times
are offered weekly. The dates are listed on our monthly newsletter.
'Coffee Chatter' is a good opportunity to make new friends.
Daily at 3:00 PM, residents gather for coffee, snacks and some
lively chatter.
Our
nurses provide free blood pressure clinics to all community residents monthly
in the Activities room on first floor. Weight and pulse checks are also a part
of this health assessment.
The Emergency Response System assures peace of mind for the
residents of our Town Home community. The awake staff is prepared
to respond to emergency calls around the clock, 7 days per week.
Sunset Park Place Town Home residents may contract for meals
and other care services from our main building (s/a laundry,
housekeeping and some nursing services). Should the need arise
for assisted living care, our Town Home residents maintain priority
admission status when an apartment becomes available in the
main building. |
